Corporate Transparency Act Enforcement Enjoined by Texas Federal Court
On December 3, 2024, the USDC for the Easter District of Texas, Sherman Division, issued a preliminary injunction enjoining enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act and its implementing regulations. A copy of that order may be found here.
Even if the order is appealed, we question whether the incoming administration will pursue that appeal.
