This presentation will cover not only the basics of mediation but how to approach it with the right mindset and preparation in order to enter into a successful settlement. First, we will examine the reasons why mediation is preferred to litigation and how to know when it is an appropriate choice for a case.
Next, we will provide practical considerations and tips for preparing for mediation in order to show up well versed and willing to negotiate fairly and reasonably with opposing counsel while still obtaining the outcome desired by a client. Our goal is to provide expertise that will promote efficient, prepared and competent approaches to mediation that result in resolving cases equitably and in good faith.
